Branding

Asgard mobile Rebrand

My most recent rebrand project was for Asgard (formerly known as Katanasoft) Part of the rebrand project was to create cohesion and recognition for the brand. The app and brand are now both “Asgard.” For this project I was the designer and the developer.

The project involved working with stakeholders to rebrand the app with the new brand colors. This involved creating reusable styles in Xamarin for light and dark modes. The project was more than a fresh look, I was able to better organize styles within the app for better reusability.

This rebrand launched 11/8/23.

Moodboards

I have worked with a number of eCommerce clients to bring branding to their websites. This has included helping to create branding standards as well as working with existing or new standards. When trying to design a website without existing branding, I have found moodboards to be very helpful when starting out fresh. I have a few projects listed below.

You’ll notice each moodboard contains fonts, colors and imagery. These documents help to define the site styles.

Robert’s Trucking and Excavating

Robert's Trucking Moodboard - Includes imagery of construction equiptment, working boots, color swatches and font examples.
Roberts Trucking and Excavating. For this site, we were starting from scratch. We wanted to capture things that were beautiful about Wisconsin winters while also communicating that the brand would get the job done. This moodboard features a fun but modest yellow pop of color. This was a moodboard created for a site that was made during Capstone coursework with UWSP.

Ashley Megal’s Under the Ash Tree

Moodboard - Imagery of whimsy, Woman at a lake, mushrooms, flowers, colored pencil art, color swatcher and font examples.
This design was made for a local colored pencil artist. The site needed to capture the whimsy and subtle yet fun colors of her work. This was a moodboard created for a site that was made during Capstone coursework with UWSP.

Darcy’s Finer Consigner

Moodboard - Imagery for a vintage shop, including VW bus, old car, guitar, antique bike and a woman in a pink hat. Includes circles of color and font examples
Darcy’s Finer Consigner was an eclectic but vibrant consignment shop. The owner wanted the site to be fun and have inspiration from timeless fashion. This was a moodboard created for a site that was made during Capstone coursework with UWSP. The resulting site used this color palette but swapped the green for the background and white for buttons. Pops of pink kept the site fun.
